Left after lunch and had a good reach across to Muck. Approaching the island, it became a bit windy for full sail but we soon reached the shelter of Muck and motored in. One yacht was already there and 2 others arrived later, making it busier than expected. We visited the fisherman and bought 2 crabs, ready-cooked. He had been busy with hay-making and was hoping the rain might hold off for a couple of days, but was not hopeful. We think his late haymaking might be part of a scheme to protect the corncrakes.
