Tuesday 10 September 2013 – Muck to Loch Drumbuie
No pictures as it was a rather dull day which kept threatening rain. A brief walk across the island followed by a well-timed visit to the tea shop – we got there just before the people from the ferry. A good sail round Ardnamurchan to Loch Drumbuie. There was only one other boat there, so we tried various other corners of the loch looking for an anchoring spot. All were either too deep close to the shore or a bit open to the wind. Eventually we anchored near the other boat as it was on a shallow patch near where we had anchored a few weeks ago. The loch is really sheltered – the only problem is that it’s a bit deep for anchoring in most places and does not give a good echo, so you never know exactly how deep.
Tomorrow we hope to go to Tobermory and stock up with various things.
